Chard Museum (2025)

Wide and varied collection, including agricultural items, Cider Room, local 'curiosities' and the best collection of the work of John Stringfellow who designed (with William Henson), among other things, a steam-powered aircraft, a 10ft wingspan model of which was flown in a disused factory in Chard in 1848.
