Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, many attractions are closed and event organisers are cancelling or postponing their events. While we will try to update the information on this site as much as possible, we cannot guarantee to have all the information we would like. Therefore we urge you to check the latest information on the attraction or event’s website or Facebook pages, and to contact them before travelling to avoid disappointment.
Please note: England is currently in a lockdown until at least 2nd December so no events will take place until after that date.
The old school houses the museum where there are displays in what was the principal classroom of items of country life, of which many people can relate to. While in the Victorian school room which was the infants schoolroom it still retains the original long desks and benches from the early 1800s, as well as Victorian clothes for children to dress up in, along with slates and pencils to write and draw with. There are also several outbuildings where there are different rural trades and occupations displayed, as well as agricultural and gardening equipment.
