Tourgis Batteries 2024

There are information boards to illustrate why these batteries are an excellent example of how Alderney's original Victorian fortifications were utilised by the Germans in WW2 since extensive clearance and conservation work has been done that allows the Cambrige Battery and the Battery No.3 to be explored, which was part of the northern defences of Fort Tourgis. Wander through the old tunnels and immerse yourself in the history that the batteries beholds.
