The Bay Museum 2026
The building originally monitored passing ships to see if they had an operating device which would keep them from detonating magnetic underwater mines. Now it has: a First World War museum, a Second World War (worldwide and in relation to Canvey) museum, and a research facility. There is also a display on Canvey in the Cold War.
