Science Museum 2024

Seven floors and more than 40 galleries contain probably the world‘s finest collections from science, technology and medicine. The motive power collection includes the earliest surviving Boulton & Watt engine (1788) and the Trevithick high pressure engine of 1806. The extensive maritime collection includes scale models of such vessels as PS ‘Sirus’ (1837), PS ‘Great Western’ (1873), PS ‘Great Eastern’ (1858), etc.
