A unique survivor from WW2, it is believed to be the only Type 287 Radio Direction Finding array in the world. It is a three-storey, six-sided building. The Ground floor was made up of five rooms – Generator, Accommodation, Mess rooms, WC and Lobby. The Middle floor was the Operations room and the Top floor was the Aerial room.

Although successful, it was very short lived, as the risk of invasion subsided during 1943. The impressive array, 21ft wide and 10ft high (6.4m x 3m) still stands in the original position it did during the dark days of WW2.
