As its name suggests, this place was a very important site for the Gunpowder Industry in Faversham. There are a lot of built remains dotted around the site.
It is a fantastic place to relax, enjoy wildlife and discover history. Simply wander and take in the fascinating surroundings as you pass the series of old gunpowder buildings and canals to the sound of singing birds and trickling water.
This is a place with many stories to tell, latterly one of a 'return to nature' and a place of learning.
