A journey of 1.25 miles through spectacular scenery by the side of the River Ure, an ideal way to discover some of Newby Hall's hidden treasures. Travel through woodland, orchards and gardens, a variety of habitats for fauna and flora.

The Railway first opened in 1971, originally an end to end line, built by Cromar White. The line, now extended runs parallel to the river in the shape of a dumb-bell loop and operates every day of the season.
