Mountsorrel & Rothley Community Heritage Centre 2024

Within the Centre is the Heritage Room which has displays from the villages of Mountsorrel and Rothley which have a rich and varied past. There is too much to have on show at one time, so displays change at regular intervals. The area now includes a small railway museum building with standard gauge railway sidings and a short section of narrow gauge track. The granite quarry recreation area called Nunckley Hill is an important feature of the site with some stonemasons' huts.
