Harwich RDF Tower (2024)
A unique survivor from WW2, it is believed to be the only Type 287 Radio Direction Finding array in the world. It is a three-storey, six-sided building. The Ground Floor was made up of five rooms – Generator, Accommodation, Mess rooms, WC and Lobby. The Middle Floor was the Operations room and the Top Floor was the Aerial room.
