Ferryhill Railway Heritage Centre 2024

A restored Ransomes & Rapier Locomotive Turntable where visitors are able to see steam locomotives being turned, on approx. seven occasions during the year. Also an 1850s Engine Shed where there are various railway artefacts on display, including Victorian railway carriages, Wickham Trolleys as well as steam and diesel locomotives under restoration. Outside there is a collection of rolling stock including two railway cranes one of which is steam powered and is operated on special occasions.
