Beaminster Museum 2025

A fascinating small museum in a converted Listed chapel, with a 19th century chamber organ that plays regularly. Exhibition on the local industry of growing flax, to the weaving of linen to produce canvas, nets, smocks and sailcloth. Also a barn with farm implements, exhibits and artefacts from the world of sheep, milk and arable.
