Wick Heritage Centre 2026

The somewhat rambling building is something of an 'Aladdin's Cave', with a number of furnished household rooms portraying past life and times. Also the former optic from Noss Head Lighthouse with its prismatic section that is visible from the first floor, the workings are visible below, which still work. Additional cabinet displays illustrate Militaria from the 19th century to WW2 and Wick’s musical heritage.

Each room contains a vast array of household items and furnishings, ranging from a traditional box bed to authentic Caithness chairs. Located in the heart of the Thomas Telford designed Pulteneytown, the premises were once home to a number of businesses and families in Bank Row.
