Nick-named ‘The Lollipop Line’ – the railway is a seven-minute, one kilometre, permanent 7 1/4 inch gauge railway. Steam, electric & internal combustion locomotives.
The railway with its new section of track in place has now doubled the length of its running line, making the total ride about one mile.
Operated by the Burnley & Pendle Miniature Railway Society, whose members are keen to ensure that passengers have a most enjoyable experience, as well as trying to pass on the knowledge and interest to the younger generation.
