Wander, explore and uncover stories around every corner with the incredible story of a 314 million year old Fossil Forest – the oldest of its kind discovered in Wales and the industrial legacy that evolved as a result. Explore the lives of the people who built and innovated these industries through the ages. Entrepreneurial characters such as the Ironmaster John Wilkinson (Iron Mad Jack) who founded Brymbo Iron Works, operational from the late 1700s. In 1885 Brymbo started production making its world-renowned steel until its closure in 1990.
