Little Marton Windmill 2026

A tower mill rebuilt from another location in the 1830s which worked until 1928. It is familiar to millions of travellers due to its location on the principal main road into Blackpool, just by the end of the M55 motorway.

It was at that time quite a spectacle for a mill to be built, and caused quite a stir to the idyllic rustic countryside and its inhabitants. They also built a new drying kiln too.

The windmill features steep and uneven stairs to the upper floors.
