Unicorn is probably the most complete of the large preserved ships, being approximately 90% original.
Step on board and travel back to the days of Nelson when Britannia ruled the waves, see the luxurious Captain's Cabin, the well appointed Officers' Wardroom and the Spartan living quarters of the crew.
Marvel at the massive timbers used in the construction and the modern (1824) ironworks used to support the decks and strengthen the hull, one of the innovations introduced by Sir Robert Seppings, Surveyor to the Navy from 1813 to 1832 and often described as the father of modern ship design.
