Clipstone Headstocks Museum 2026

A unique experience featuring military and mining exhibits on the site of the WW1 Clipstone camp which was the largest training camp in WW1 with over 30,000 troops on site at any one time, we have over 20 very unusual military vehicles which are under the worlds tallest headstocks at 200 feet tall. The guided tours are steeped in the rich history of Clipstone which was the first place in Britain to hold speed trails and includes an underground experience and a huge number of interesting exhibits.
