Explores the key themes that have influenced the area: farming, fishing, distilling, mining and the military. Its range of superbly made and very large models includes one of Campbeltown harbour in the early 1900s, complete with elements of the little known Campbeltown & Machrihanish Railway.

The centre has a fantastic collection of objects spanning 300 years of social history. Once one of the richest towns per head in all of Scotland – Campbeltown’s sheltered port played a key role in growing the whisky, fishing and tourism industries.
