The Battery consists of a collection of military buildings that have been restored on the south beach at Blyth. They all have a different purpose including – the Magazine where all of the shells for the guns were stored, a WW2 Battery Observation Post, WW1 Battery Observation Post, Searchlight building, First World War Officers Dugout, along with a recreation of an underground monitoring post used by the Royal Observer Corps that can be found in the War Shelter behind the gun emplacements.
