The museum provides a fascinating insight into life during World War Two. Each artefact or item of memorabilia tells its own unique story, set along side the sounds and music of the times. History appears to come alive in this unique nostalgic experience.

See original items from the Battle of Britain, the Blitz, the Home Front including the real Dad's Army, Russian Front, D-Day, Bomber Command, US 8th Air Force. Items on display include: Aero engines, propellers, artefacts, uniforms, aircraft parts, equipment, local history  and much much more!

At the centre of the museum is a complete fuselage from a Douglas C-47 Dakota which visitors can walk inside. This was used during the filming of the TV hit series Band of Brothers.
