Riverside Museum at Blake’s Lock 2024

Telling the story of Reading's two rivers – the Kennet and the Thames – the museum occupies two former industrial buildings, the Screen House and the Turbine House. The Turbine House spans the Kennet, with views towards the town centre. It houses preserved turbine machinery. The former displays a gypsy 'Ledge' caravan built by Reading firm Dunton & Sons, and a video about gypsy life.
