The magnificent Waverley – the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world – sails on day trips afternoon and evening cruises from many areas in Britain, every spring, summer and autumn.

 Waverley was built in 1947 for the London & North Eastern Railway and in 2000/2001 was magnificently restored to as-new condition.  On board you can see spectacular triple expansion steam engines & paddle wheels in operation. 

The ship is owned by a charity, supported by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society and sail every year on the Clyde, Bristol Channel, Solent, Thames, North West England, North Wales and Isle of Man.
