The story of the Clarks & Coats Thread Mills of Paisley, telling about thread making in Paisley from its origin in 1722 to the closure of the last mill in 1993. Many of the items on display have been donated by people who were connected with the local thread mills and includes a large collection given to the museum by Coats Plc.

Open Days & Times
Wed, Sat 1200-1600. Also it is possible to visit and view the display cases outside these times while the Abbey Mill Business Centre is open. Please sign their guest book at the top of the stairs before you leave. Visit website or facebook for more details.
