Paisley Thread Mill Museum 2025

The story of the Clarks & Coats Thread Mills of Paisley, telling about thread making in Paisley from its origin in 1722 to the closure of the last mill in 1993. Many of the items on display have been donated by people who were connected with the local thread mills and includes a large collection given to the museum by Coats Plc.
