Hartley Hut Museum 2026/27
The three tiny historic Grade II Listed octagonal granite Hartley Huts date back to 1844, built by Jesse Hartley. They offered a place for the gatekeepers to keep warm while operating the gates allowing ships to enter and leave the docks. Now one of the huts allows passers-by into the space to keep warm and read about the stories held within the hut and beyond; all set against the vast backdrop of the Liverpool waterfront.
