Forge Mill Needle Museum 2024

The museum is an unusual and fascinating place as its historic site illustrates the rich heritage of the needle and fishing tackle industries. Models and recreated scenes provide a vivid illustration of how needles were once made, and how Redditch once produced 90% of the world's needles. As the 18th century working mill centred upon the only remaining water-driven machinery for needle making in the world. Also remains of excavated 12th century watermill.
