Dalgarven Mill Museum of Country Life (2025)

Restored four storey mill was built in 1640 and is powered by a 20ft (6 metre) undershot waterwheel. It is one of the oldest and tallest grain mills surviving in Scotland and contains an extensive display of farming implements, etc. The granaries once held thousands of tonnes of grain.

The machinery for the grain mill was rescued from a mill in the Scottish Borders, and shows the skills of the Victorian engineers or millwrights who designed such mills.
