The Steam Heritage Guide contains over 800 heritage railways, museums and attractions. Soon Britain's most comprehensive guide to the heritage and preservation scene will be available as a fully searchable online directory.

You will be able to search for heritage attractions based on region, county, type of attraction (e.g. heritage railways, museums and steam centres, maritime etc.) or by keyword (such as museum name, a location or even an attraction).
As with the printed version of the Steam Heritage Guide, each attraction listing will display a description, facilities, contact details, open days and times and nearest railway stations and bus routes. In addition, the online listings will contain photos, map location, a full comprehensive description, events at the attraction plus visitor and Steam Heritage reviews and articles.

The 2012 Steam Heritage Guide contains listings of preservation and heritage sites, railways, museums and attractions across the UK with contact details and facilities to help you plan days out for the family or for UK steam and heritage enthusiasts from preserved railways and steam centres to transport and industrial museums and collections. Maritime, Aviation, Military and Vintage vehicle museums are all included plus a comprehensive events diary list of steam rallies, vintage shows and live steam events.
