The Darlington Locomotive Works based in the Railway Heritage Quarter of Darlington is home to the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.The Trust builds new steam locomotives for the 21st Century. TORADO A1 60163 travels the mainlines and visits preserved railways across the UK.In the workshop at the moment is the PRINCE OF WALES P2 2007 under construction. The Tender and frame, monobloc are amongst the exhibits. The DLW Guides will be pleased to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the locos during your visit.
