One of the finest working stables in existence and a living part of Britain's heritage, the Royal Mews is responsible for all road travel arrangements for The Queen and members of the Royal Family. The Mews is home to the royal collection of historic coaches and carriages.

The Royal Mews is one of the finest working stables in existence and is responsible for all road travel arrangements for The Queen and members of the Royal Family. The Mews is home to the royal collection of historic coaches and carriages.

The most dazzling of all the coaches on display is the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since 1821, including the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 2 June 1953.
