Britain’s finest Victorian fresh water pumping station. Two James Watt beam engines with Lancashire boilers. Robey winding engine from Linby Colliery, 7.25in. gauge steam operated miniature railway. Underground reservoir tours subject to weather and staffing. Please note the Pumping Station is not in Papplewick village.
