Paisley Thread Mill Museum

The museum aims to preserve the social and industrial heritage of the Paisley & Renfrewshire Thread Mills for the education and enjoyment of all by collecting and displaying material relating to the thread industry. Many of the items on display have been donated by people who were connected with the local thread mills and include a large collection which has been donated to the museum by Coats Plc.

Open days:Wed & Sat 1200-1600. (Entry is by the main Reception Area through the second car park. When you arrive at reception, please give your car registration number to the receptionist. If you do not do this you risk a parking fine.) (Disabled access is available via a lift from the ground floor to the first.)
