Five mile branch line first opened in 1867, striking southwards into the hills from the town of Keighley through Haworth, home of the Brontes, and Oakworth which featured in the film ‘The Railway Children’. Now operated by a preservation society with a large collection of operating steam and diesel locomotives and vintage carriages.
