Steam Herring Drifter – Lydia Eva

The only surviving steam herring drifter ‘Lydia Eva’ and side fishing trawler ‘Mincarlo’. Both floating museums of the herring fishing industry. ‘Lydia Eva’ moored at Hall Quay in Great Yarmouth, ‘Mincarlo’ at Heritage Quay Lowestoft.

The plan is to bring Mincarlo back into cruising condition, this will be a project over the next 2-3 years. subject as always to finding the funding.
