The elegant home of industrialist and entrepreneur Matthew Boulton from 1766 to 1809. Boulton's many achievements helped fuel the Industrial Revolution. He developed the steam engine with James Watt. Carefully restored, the house includes period furnishings and furniture and glittering displays of metalware produced in his famous Manufactory.
