Museum of Transport – Greater Manchester

With over 70 vintage commercial vehicles, the museum is one of the largest of its kind in the country. In addition to actual vehicles there are large and small exhibits and archives areas plus vehicle restoration on view.

The Museum tells the story of public road transport in Greater Manchester from its very beginnings in 1824 to the present day. The collection spans over 100 years, from an 1890s horse bus to a full size prototype Metrolink tram.
