A restored section of the Carmarthern – Aberystwyth railway, the Gwili Railway currently operates over 2.5 miles from Bronwydd – Danycoed, with a two mile extension to Carmarthen (Abergwili) currently under construction, and further extensions northwards planned (the railway owns eight miles of trackbed, as far as Llanpumsaint.
All services are hauled by one of our resident steam locomotives, including our extremely popular Dining Trains, where you can enjoy Sunday Lunch, listen to the opera, or try and guess 'Whodunnit?' on our Murder Mystery Specials.
And if you've always wanted to be an engine driver, why not try one of our Steam or Diesel Driver experience packages?
