Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, many attractions are delaying their 2020 season until at least early July and event organisers are cancelling or postponing their events. There will be no public events until early July at the latest.

While we will try to update the information on this site as much as possible, we cannot guarantee to have all the information we would like. Therefore we urge you to check the latest information on the attraction or event’s website or Facebook pages, and to contact them before travelling to avoid disappointment.

389th Bomb Group Memorial Museum (2021)

The exhibition is a commemoration of the contribution made during World War 2 by the 389th Heavy Bombardment Group 2nd Air Division of the American Airforce. It is housed in the original Chapel/Gymnasium building which is the only major building from the camp area of Hethel Airfield (Station 114) to remain. The exhibits include memorabilia, uniforms, decorations, combat records, photographs, with many of the items donated by veterans or their families. We also have some exhibits relating to the RAF in World War 2 and some more modern exhibits relating to military history in general.
