Well known photographer of road and agricultural steam engines, Barry J Finch, has published a new book, Reflections of Living Steam.
Barry published a number of books in the 1960s and 1970s of photographs he took in the 1950s and 1960s and this book follows on from.
Following the successful republication of his 1962 Ploughing Engines at Work as an A4 landscape book, The publishers have just published a new 100 page volume of Barry’s pictures in the same format. This time, the book draws on Barry’s many thousands of black & white negatives of the period and the 90-odd images cover a wide selection of engine types and makes in this quality publication. Further volumes are in production to follow.
