"It was not always this quiet at Llanfoist Wharf on the Brecon & Montgomery Canal. The wharf was located at the bottom of an incline at the end of a tramroad that came all the way from Blaenavon Ironworks. The warehouse was built in 1820 and is one of the oldest railway warehouses in the world."
