Over 60 classic vehicles tell the story of British Commercial Vehicle manufacture and use over the past 120 years. Classic transport films are shown in the cinema and an archive of over 256,000 photographs shows a bygone age.
Leyland is the spiritual home of commercial vehicle manufacture in Britain. The Museum tells the story of all manufacturers including world famous names such as Leyland, Bedford, Scammell, AEC just to mention a few.
Admire the metal in the Engine Room which explains the Story of Diesel, sit in one of five classic fire engines, admire the famous Popemobile, recall traveling on a bus from the 1950's and talk to our informative guides.
