Trade Orders
By stocking and selling the Guide you not only benefit your own organisation financially but also promote the preservation movement as a whole – including ultimately your own activities.
If you actively sell the Steam Heritage Guide you can make a substantial profit as well – a 50 copy order can earn over £100 profit!
We supply the guide on trade terms based on a retail price of £4.95 with a choice of 3 schemes:
SCHEME 1: FIRM SALE CASH WITH ORDER BASIS
We will supply any quantity (minimum 20 copies) on Firm Sale (non returnable) at 45% discount. This would generate a profit of over £220.00 on the average 100 copies order which most Railways and Museums sell each year.
SCHEME 2: NORMAL NETT MONTHLY TERMS
33⅓% discount (minimum order 10 copies).
SCHEME 3: SALE OR RETURN BASIS
We will supply any quantity (minimum 10, max. 30 copies) of the Guide less 25% discount. These are supplied on a Full Sale or Return basis on one condition – you must undertake to make payment for sold copies by 1st August 2010 and supply details of unsold stock at that time whereupon an extension of credit may be granted for the unsold copies. If no return is made by the due date, the invoice immediately becomes payable in full and the Sale or Return arrangement becomes null and void.
